Beyond the Mafia II (47-94)

Almost all the Organized Crime Gropus that exist exist in secrecy and usuallly include members of the same ethnicity and the same background in crime.

Chinese gangas are known to be the biggest exporters of heroin in both the United States and now in Canada.

In Chinese gangs females are not allowed and theyre not considered gang members even if they have joined, they just hang out with the gang members for atention.

Like other Hisoanic and African American gangs, Asian youth join gangs for the same reason, problems in school, their association with crime and the want to make money.

Like many other gangs, Chinese gangs are filled with adolescant youth.

Why are women not allowed in the Chinses gangs and even if they join why are they not considered gang members?
Why are the Chinese gangs filled with youth?

Why do some gangs have a ceremony where they have to drink blood with wine?
Why do other observers of Chinese gangs exaggerate Chinese gang activity in the U.S.?

lucrative (pg 54): producing a lot of money, profitable

dissuaded (pg 58): To convince not to try or do

cohesive (pg 72): well integrated

"Every Chinese gang in New York City manuvers in its own land" (pg 76) This shows man vs. man conflict between gangs in New York if gangs get involved in others territories.

"...monilithic hierichall criminal cartel..." (pg 80) This shows hyporbole because other observers are exaggerating crimnial activity of Chiniese gangs in the U.S.
