Apple had a big opportunity to merge with Universal to form a very big company but it didnt.
The iTunes storewas a big hit but mosatly for Mac users.
Windows users wernet able to utulize all the capabilites of the Itunes store beacue iTunes wasnt compatibale with Windows yet.
Steve Jobs had to go to artist he knew personally to aks them to put their songs online but they diasagreeded. Later on they finally agreed.
Apple had to make a Windows version of iTunes for the people who didnt have a Mac.
